Making an appointment for an abortion

We ask that you have a positive pregnancy test before calling our office (604-709-5611) to book your appointment. Appointments must be made by phone before coming to the office.

If you have not already had a positive pregnancy test, you can have one done at your doctor's office, a drop-in clinic or get a kit from a drug store.

You can expect to spend 5 to 10 minutes on the phone when booking your appointment. You may want to phone from somewhere private as we will be asking you some personal questions and giving you some more information. Please make sure to have your BC medical number (PHN) with you if you have one. We also need the date of your last period and two emergency contact phone numbers.

If you require an interpreter, please have that person call us directly to book your appointment and make sure that they are able to come to all appointments with you.

You do not need a referral from a doctor to come to our clinic. However, we will send a letter to your doctor about your visit here if you wish.
