What does it cost for an abortion?

Women who have medical coverage are required to pay $80 to cover the cost of the medications that are needed. Those with extended medical plans may be reimbursed.

Women who do not have medical coverage are required to pay $450.00. This covers all of your pregnancy related office visits, ultrasounds, consultations, and medications. If this procedure fails and you need surgery, there may be an additional cost if the pregnancy is too far for our clinic.

If you are unable to pay these fees, our office staff will try to work something out for you when you call. The other clinics in Vancouver are government funded and are free for BC residents. See Resources and Links.
